terms and conditions
These terms cover anything you buy from Trials. Placing an order means you accept them, so it is worth a read. They are written to be understood rather than to sound impressive.
Who you are buying from
TrialsThe quickest way to reach us about anything, including orders, returns and complaints, is [email protected]. We aim to reply within two working days.
Orders
Adding something to your cart does not reserve it. A contract between us only exists once we have taken payment and emailed you a confirmation.
Everything here is made in small runs, so occasionally two people buy the last of a size within moments of each other. If we cannot fulfil your order we will tell you and refund you in full. We will not substitute a different size or design without asking you first.
Prices and payment
- Prices are in pounds sterling and include any tax due.
- UK delivery is a flat £2.99 per order, shown before you pay.
- Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- If a price is obviously wrong, for example a tee listed at £2.50 instead of £25, we may cancel and refund rather than honour it. We will tell you why.
Delivery
We post to UK addresses only at the moment. Orders are usually packed within a couple of working days and arrive within 3 to 5 working days after that. These are estimates, not guarantees, and Royal Mail has opinions of its own.
Risk passes to you when the parcel is delivered. If it does not turn up, tell us and we will chase it.
Cancelling and returning
You have a 14 day right to cancel, plus separate rights if something is faulty. Both are explained in full on the returns page, which forms part of these terms.
The designs
The photographs and artwork on these tees are original work and remain the property of Trials. Buying a tee means you own that tee. It does not give you the right to reproduce the design, print it yourself, or use it commercially.
Our liability
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for unforeseeable loss, or for business losses, since these products are sold for personal use.
Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes can be brought in its courts. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings there.
